Acupressure

Febuary 2nd, 2009

Acupressure is one of the oldest and most widespread healing methods in the world.

It involves placing physical pressure, (by hand, elbow, or with the aid of various devices) on different pressure points on the surface of the body. The points triggered are located along an invisible system of energy channels within the body, known as meridians and relate directly to organs and glands of the body where constrictions in the flow of energy at these points cause disease and discomfort. The gentle pressure applied to these points removes blockages promoting health and harmony throughout the body.
